3 Cheese Spaghetti Bake with Ground Turkey
This cheesy, yummy 3 cheese spaghetti bake casserole is sure to become a quick easy recipe favorite!
Ingredients
- 1 box (1 lb) spaghetti
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 4 cups frozen spinach
- 4 cups finely shredded cheese (Colby & Monterey Jack blend, and, Sharp Cheddar)
- 1 jar (24 oz) Chunky mushroom and green pepper pasta sauce
- Salt
- Garlic pepper seasoning
- Onion powder, black pepper, Lawry’s seasoned salt (or your preferred seasonings)
Directions
- Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a medium-sized pot cook frozen spinach according to package directions. Add salt to water (season to taste).
- Cook ground turkey in a large skillet over medium heat until meat is no longer pink. Season meat with onion powder, black pepper, Lawry’s Seasoned Salt (to taste). Drain.
- After spaghetti and spinach are done cooking, drain; don’t rinse.
- In a large bowl, pour enough pasta sauce over spaghetti to cover it, then mix lightly with tongs.
- Add drained ground turkey and spinach in bowl with spaghetti. Season to taste with garlic pepper seasoning. Stir.
- Place a layer of spaghetti mixture in large baking dish. Top with a layer of chunky mushroom & green pepper pasta sauce. Top with cheese. Repeat layers.
- Place uncovered in preheated oven on 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
I usually let it cool for about 5 to 10 minutes. Slice, salivate from all the ooozey cheesy goodness, and enjoy! Freeze or refrigerate any leftovers.
