How To Build Avon Sales with Samples
KNOW your Customers
- Think about the people you encounter day to day and ask yourself, “Who do I know would use these types of products?”
- Are your Customers loyal to a certain color of lipstick? Do they prefer a certain texture (matte, gloss, etc.)?
ENGAGE with your Customers
- Engage your Customers and motivate them to buy by allowing them to try the samples to get the look, smell and feel of the new products.
- Ask Customers about their skin care concerns and educate them about key benefits of the Anew skin care line.
- Always carry samples with you and gift them to your children’s teachers and coaches, to your coworkers, neighbors and friends. Place them in the Avon brochures you hand out, too!
- As your Customer tries on an item, talk about the quality and compliment her on how she looks. Bring a compact mirror with you.
- When someone comments on your fragrance scent, give her a sample to try so she can appreciate the scent on herself.
- Make sure that you get the product samples into your Customer’s hands.
SELL the product to your Customer
- Make certain to exchange contact information with your Customer so you can follow up a few days later to ask him/her how they liked the products.
- If they like it, entice them to take advantage of the special pricing offers in the brochure for full-size sales.
